Safeguarding
We believe children and young people have the right to be completely secure from the threat of and reality of abuse and are committed to protecting all those in our care from harm.
Our EYFS 2025 Compliant policy sets out The Greenhouse Project’s commitment to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. It has been updated to align with the 2025 safeguarding law reforms and the EYFS statutory framework.
Our Lead Safeguarding Designated Officer (LSDO) is Annaleigh Livens and the Deputy Safeguarding Officer is Abbie Cashman for Early Years Education. The LSDO for Out of School is Pat Smith.
The Greenhouse Project’s Safeguarding Procedures comply with all relevant legislation and other guidance or advice from the Liverpool Safeguarding Children Board.
The Greenhouse Project is committed to reviewing its Safeguarding policy and procedures annually. For a copy of this or any other Greenhouse Project policy, please contact leona@greenhouseproject.org.uk

We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, consistent and accessible service to children and young people, parent/carers, individuals or partner organisations and we welcome all comments on our services, regardless of whether they are positive or negative.
We always aim to provide high-quality services for everyone, but accept that sometimes things do not always go to plan. In such circumstances, we want to know so that we can put them right and learn from our mistakes.
A full copy of our Complains procedure is available upon request. In the first instance, a service user, parent/carer, individual or partner organisation is encouraged to speak directly to the relevant member of staff.
